WP EASYBAY™ was originally created and distributed as UEAL or “Ultimate eBay Auction Lister” on e-double.com by Programmer Fredrik Ahlen. Fred left a comment on JTPratt’s Blogging Mistakes (jtpratt.com) about UEAL since JTPratt often blogged about tools to add eBay auctions to Wordpress sites. This sparked an email conversation about what the plugin potentially “could do” – and WP EASYBAY™ was born! It’s now the most fully featured eBay affiliate Wordpress plugin available today – and also the most affordable!
There are certainly other eBay Wordpress plugins on the market, but we really only have one real competitor – the leading eBay Wordpress plugin. A great deal of time was put into WP EASYBAY™, considerable programming time and testing was performed (over a year in fact) – to ensure that the plugin would do most anything someone using Wordpress could want in regards to placement of eBay auctions. You can set all the default options in the plugin admin, but you can override any (or all) of them by using advanced parameters in individual pages and posts. We are the only plugin that allows you to build forms and pass the parameters into the auction tag for custom results per page and post – in other words, a way to allow your visitors to choose their own options!
