My name is JT Pratt, and I’m a WordPress Consultant with my own freelance business here in the United States. I have been working online for 15 years, blogging for 9 years, and doing niche and affiliate marketing for 6 years now. I have used and purchased just about every WordPress affiliate plugin I could find in the last 4-5 years of using WordPress. My web site is full of posts and reviews about my trials and tribulations using both WordPress and affiliate / niche store type tools. In fact, my web site is how I met my partner for WP EASYBAY – Fredrik Ahlen. Fred is a genius programmer who resides in Switzerland. He posted a comment about his eBay auction plugin for WordPress on my blog 18 months ago, and I sent him a list of items I wanted to know if he could add to it – and our partership for this product was born!
If you read the competition’s web site, they’ll lead you to believe that we “outsource” our programming, that we’re fly by night with poor support, and that we’re some cheap imitation knockoff of their product. The REAL TRUTH is that I specifically wrote the spec for this plugin myself because I hated every other eBay plugin I ever used. WE have been working on features for this plugin for over a year, relentlessly internally testing and adding features during that time. Within 30 days of our initial product launch, we shipped a new version (1.75) with new features. Not a single customer has been uphappy to date.
When we launched this page was initially a table of features comparing WP EASYBAY to the leading competitor. We portrayed a fair and accurate feature comparison based on the information published on their own web site – the exact same way GM compares cars to Ford or Calgon compares itself to Dawn dish soap. The funny thing is that some features we had listed – the competition decided to adopt as well (making the chart out of date)! I guess we have them running scared!
